LLC formation plans
FormThatLLC publishes LLC cost information for every state, free and open. An account adds a saved formation checklist that tracks your progress step by step, so the research on the state pages turns into a record you can come back to.

How the free checklist works
Pick the state you are forming in, and the account page loads the same six steps the state page walks through: choose the legal name, choose the registered agent, file the formation document, write the operating agreement, get tax and bank accounts in order, and calendar the recurring charge. Check steps off as you finish them. Your progress is saved to your account, so you can leave and come back without losing the thread.
Start from the state cost pages to see the filing fee and recurring charge for your state, then run the numbers in the LLC True Cost Calculator before you file.
What plans do not change
A plan never gates the published content. State fee records, guides, and the calculator stay free and indexable. A plan also never files anything for you: FormThatLLC is not a filing service and not a law firm. Use the official filing office or a qualified professional for the filing itself.
Common questions
What does the free FormThatLLC account include?
A saved formation checklist with progress tracking for one state. The six steps match the formation checklist on each state page: legal name, registered agent, filing, operating agreement, tax and bank accounts, and the recurring charge. Every state page, guide, and the LLC True Cost Calculator stay free and open whether or not you sign in.
What does Plus add?
Plus adds deadline reminders for recurring state filings, multi-entity tracking so you can keep checklists for more than one state, and a document vault for formation records. Plus is planned at $6 per month or $49 per year.
When will Plus be available for purchase?
Plus is not on sale yet. The plans on this page are the intended offering; sign-in and the free saved checklist are available now to invited users while the product is in early access.
Does FormThatLLC file my LLC for me?
No. FormThatLLC publishes cost information, a calculator, and checklists. File through the official state channel or with a professional you choose. A paid plan does not file anything on your behalf.
Is FormThatLLC legal advice?
No. The site publishes general legal information, not legal advice for a specific business, and it is not a law firm. Confirm fees and deadlines with the filing office before you pay.
